Gatehouse / Security Overview

IF YOU BELIEVE A CRIME IS IN PROGRESS OR NEED TO REPORT A CRIME,
CALL HENDERSON POLICE DEPARTMENT (911 / 702-267-5000)

Security’s primary responsibility at ACCCA is access control. The officers stationed at the gatehouse use DwellingLIVE to ensure that no one can enter the community until we know where they are going.

Security also has several other duties that we perform and provide in addition to access control, which include:
  • Patrolling the communities and monitoring the common areas, looking for suspicious persons' activities.
  • Enforcing parking policies and conducting speed and stop sign enforcement. This enforcement helps to provide a safer community.
  • If a resident is going on vacation, upon their filling out a House Check Request, patrol will check their home three times a day. We can either perform a drive-by and check the front of your home or a perimeter check. If anything suspicious is observed, Security will contact the resident or individual they designated as their emergency contact.
  • Opening and securing the Willow Knolls pool when it is in service.
  • Installing and activating transponders for new vehicles.

Our front entrance is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Visitors, guests, and vendors are checked in by the security staff at the left entrance (guest) lane. All visitors must be authorized by a resident to enter the community. Residents are encouraged to use the DwellingLIVE app or website to pre-approve visitors to speed up the entry process. If a visitor is not on a resident's list, the gatehouse will attempt to contact that resident by phone for their approval.  Visitors must provide a government-issued photo ID when entering. Visitors who are unauthorized or who fail to provide their ID will be denied entry.

The Flex Lane is open at 2pm on weekdays (residents may use this middle lane for entry). A green light is shown above the gatehouse when the flex lane is open.

The Main Resident Lane (far right lane) will be closed daily from 9pm to 5am. During this time, residents must use the flex lane for entry.
